Oakseed Ministries International is a nonprofit ministry based at 101 E. Baltimore Ave, Ste 408, Media, PA 19063. This policy covers our website, oakseed.org. Our child sponsorship website (oakseedsponsor.org) and our gift catalog store (BazaarCatalog.com) are separate websites with their own practices.
Contact form. When you send us a message, we collect your name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, the reason you are writing, and your message. The form is delivered to us by Formspree, a form-handling service. We use what you send only to reply to you and help with your request. Using the form does not add you to any mailing list.
Giving. Online gifts are made through secure donation forms provided by Little Green Light, our donor management service, at secure.lglforms.com. On that form you enter your name, contact details, the amount and designation of your gift, and your payment information. Payments are handled by Little Green Light and its payment processor. Oakseed does not receive or store your full card number. We keep a record of your gift and contact details so we can send your tax receipt, thank you, and keep accurate financial records. You can also give by mailing a check to the address above.
Prayer emails. If you sign up for daily prayer requests by email, your sign-up is handled by our email service provider. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how people use our website, and Google Ads to measure how our ads perform, for example whether someone who clicked an ad went on to contact us or give. These tools use cookies and send Google information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived, your approximate location, and your type of device and browser.
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether to allow these cookies. If you choose Decline, Google Analytics and Google Ads do not load at all. If you choose Accept, they load on that visit and on later visits. We remember your answer by saving it in your own browser; it is not sent to us.
You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage the ads Google shows you at My Ad Center.
To show some content, our pages load it directly from other services, which receive your device's IP address when they do: Google Fonts (the fonts used on every page), the Leaflet map library and OpenStreetMap (our map of ministry partners), Vimeo (embedded videos), and Little Green Light (our giving forms). Links to Facebook, Instagram, and X take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
We use personal information to respond to you, to process and receipt your gifts, to send prayer and ministry updates you have asked for, and to improve our website. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named on this page, who help us do this work, or when the law requires it.
We keep donation records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and other messages only as long as they are useful for serving you. We use established providers and encrypted connections, though no website can promise complete security.
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop receiving email from us, by contacting us using the details below. You can change your cookie choice at any time with the button above.
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
