Ethiopia follows a different calendar from much of the western world, so Christmas is celebrated in January instead of December.

In mid-January, Morning Light hosted a Christmas celebration with the 130 children in their program.

In addition to small gifts, food, and drinks, the children listened to a presentation of why Jesus came, followed by a trivia review game afterwards. All of the children, teachers, and staff enjoyed this time.

Pray for the Lord to cause His word to bear fruit in these children’s hearts and bring them to faith in Him.
