Gospel Ministry through Bible Distribution

“Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the Word of Christ” (Romans 10:17). All of Oakseed’s ministry partners seek to bring the Word of God to their communities through physical copies of the Bible, audio Bibles for individuals with vision loss, and storybook Bibles for children.

Please pray:

  • For the Lord to give Oakseed’s ministry partners opportunities to share His word with their communities.
  • For the Lord to bless the reading and hearing of His word with repentance and faith.

Here is a sampling of how Oakseed’s ministry partners bring the Word to their communities:

Brazilian Baseball Association (Brazil) hosts weekly Bible studies with the young people in their program. They give each participant a new Bible, and the kids are excited to write their names and baseball positions on the inside covers.

CEMIPRE (Chile) gives people with vision loss copies of Braille or audio Bibles as they work with them on engaging with the Word of God, reading Braille, and understanding the truths of the gospel.

Fountain of Life Christian School (Dominican Republic) provides Bibles to families at the school. They have seen many families come to faith in Christ and membership in the local church.

Hanna Orphan’s Home (Ethiopia) gives copies of the Bible to the children in their care for Bible study, retreats, counseling, and personal devotions.

JEAME (Brazil) gives incarcerated teens personal Bibles with JEAME’s contact information inside the cover. They use the Bibles for group studies and personal reading while in prison, and many teens have reached out to JEAME for follow-up through the contact information upon release.

Kenya Needy Orphans and Children (Kenya) provides students with a Bible and journal for personal reading and use at retreats.

Lily of the Valleys (Brazil) gives each woman in their rehab program a personal Bible, which they use in Bible studies and group discussions.

Love Never Fails (Ethiopia) provides copies of the Bible in Amharic or Oromia so that women can read the Word in their own language.

Royal Nest (Liberia) gives Bibles to the kids in their school for use during class and at home.

SACDEM (Argentina) gives children’s story Bibles to children living with incarcerated mothers.

Oakseed offers opportunities to support these ministries through prayer and general and specific giving. We also publish an annual bazaar catalog full of gifts carefully chosen by Oakseed and our partners to meet the real needs of their particular ministries. These are blessings above and beyond our ongoing support for their ministry work and are excellent options for Christmas gifts, birthdays, anniversaries, or any other occasion. Please contact info@oakseed.org for more information or to request a catalog. To provide Bibles for these ministries to share with their communities, please visit our group gifts catalog page.
