Around 35 percent of the population in Nagpur lives in slums. Calvary Mission Center (CMC) focuses on social work projects to bring the gospel to these impoverished areas.

Purple Woods is CMC’s ministry to disabled children, including those with cancer, autism, dyslexia, and ADHD. This vital ministry provides need-based activities to help these children thrive and understand their worth in Christ.

Whether it’s providing medical exams to orphans, funding school for destitute children, transporting kids to school in three-wheeled vehicles called rickshaws, or caring for youth with special needs, CMC strives to meet real needs in their community while sharing the gospel and connecting those in the slums with a local church. The affiliated church holds services in two slum locations, and all programs share the gospel to draw people into the church for fellowship, discipleship, and support.

Please pray for the Lord to provide and care for these children and use Calvary Mission Center to draw these children and their families into the church for discipleship and fellowship.
