Ministry Update: Mustard Seed Orphanage (Myanmar)

Mustard Seed ’s work centers on a deep commitment to sharing the gospel and nurturing the faith of the children and widows in its care. Many children who come to Mustard Seed have never known the love of Christ, but through the faithful teaching and modeling of the staff, they are coming to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Rev. Julian Bull, Oakseed’s Ministry Liaison to Southeast Asia, recently returned from a visit to Mustard Seed Orphanage. He shared that current struggles bring “many opportunities to demonstrate and proclaim the only real hope, the one true and living hope, our risen Lord Jesus Christ.”

A definite highlight for Mustard Seed is the opening of the preschool. It is proving to be popular with locals and has no shortage of parents applying for their children to attend. It is providing to be a great means of evangelism as well as providing both jobs and income.
