Ministry Update: Thandanani House of Refuge (South Africa)

Thandanani House of Refuge provides safe shelter and care for vulnerable children in South Africa. The ministry combines housing, education, healthcare, and discipleship to help children heal from trauma, providing a loving home and support for school-age children and teenagers. The ministry is committed to sharing the transformative power of the gospel with the children in its care.

The Lord has given many gifts to Thandanani House of Refuge in the past several months, showing the children that He sees and cares for them. They were gifted blankets and gift bags and loaned a huge movie screen for a week, leading to several pajama movie nights for the kids. A local dentist provided dental checkups for the kids and taught them proper brushing techniques. Another local company volunteered to do property maintenance for Thandanani. It is a blessing to hear of the community the Lord has given Thandanani as it seeks to protect and provide for these vulnerable children.

• Please pray that the Lord will help the children to not just enjoy each of these gifts, but that they will be drawn to the Giver of the gifts.
• Thank the Lord for His provision for Thandanani.
• Pray for wisdom, patience, and help in shepherding these children, as each of them has come out of difficult situations.
