Ministry Update: Thandanani House of Refuge (South Africa)

Thandanani House of Refuge is dedicated to rescuing and restoring the lives of vulnerable children and teenagers who have been orphaned, abandoned, abused, or neglected. It provides a loving home and support for school-age children and teenagers and is committed to sharing the transformative power of the gospel with the children in its care.

Thandanani recently celebrated several of its children who received top marks in the mid-year exams, one who received special recognition for being a good student, and another who was honored for her performance in a recent chess tournament. This is a testament to the Lord’s care for these children in giving them a safe and loving home situation and providing faithful tutors who come alongside them with extra lessons and support.

Thandanani is also celebrating the addition of two new girls to its family. Though it may take a while to get settled in, the Lord has brought them into a place where they can grow and thrive.
