Ministry Update: Reformed Heart Orphans Center (Kenya)

Reformed Heart Orphans Center is dedicated to rescuing and caring for orphans. Founded in 2009 in response to the devastating aftermath of the 2007 post-election violence, RHOC has become a refuge for 40 children who have lost their parents.

One of the most inspiring aspects of RHOC’s work is witnessing the spiritual transformation in the children’s lives. Through daily Bible studies, church attendance, and mentorship, many orphans have come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. These children, once devastated by the loss of their parents, have found hope, healing, and a new family in Christ through the ministry of RHOC.

In addition to spiritual nurture, RHOC is committed to providing the children with a well-rounded education that will equip them for a successful future.

Over the summer, the government of Kenya began to evaluate children’s homes and orphanages across the country, closing many of them. By God’s grace, RHOC was spared and even commended by the government. RHOC is currently completing several upgrades and projects required by the government for it to remain in operation.

Pastor Andrew shared, “It should be known that it’s Oakseed that has enabled us to reach the level that we are immediately recognized nationally. Thank you!”
