Ministry Update: Israel Shalom (Brazil)

Israel Shalom has had more than 50 new people participate in its ministry this year. Its weekly Bible study for young people and adults had an average of 11 regular attendees. The ballet class has grown to 20 girls, and the teacher uses gospel music in rehearsals and training to stimulate discussions. The music classes are training over 20 young people in performance and theory, and recent discussions have centered around the history of music, using the Psalms as examples. Several pastors have sent youth from their local churches to participate in the music lessons, and it has been encouraging to see their interest and desire to use musical skills to bless others.

With all of these classes, Israel Shalom is bursting at the seams, and the Lord has kindly answered prayers by providing a building and funds to purchase it so they can expand their offerings and better accommodate the students in their care. They are working to adapt the building to their purposes and look forward to opening their new facility next year!
