Ministry Update: Lily of the Valleys (Brazil)

Lily of the Valleys is a Christ-centered therapeutic community in Catanduva, Brazil, that provides holistic treatment and rehabilitation for women struggling with drug addiction. Founded over 30 years ago, this ministry has been a beacon of hope, transforming the lives of countless women and their families through the power of the Gospel.

At the heart of Lily of the Valleys’ approach is a deep commitment to biblical principles and the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. The women who come to this community are not just treated for their physical addictions but are also ministered to spiritually. Through intensive discipleship, Bible study, and prayer, the staff and volunteers at Lily of the Valleys guide these women towards true freedom and restoration.

Many women have neglected personal healthcare for years, so Lily provides vaccination campaigns, preventative health exams, and treatments to assist them in taking care of their health. Lily also offers activities to promote physical and mental well-being, including cooking workshops, art therapy, debate circles, reading groups, lectures, and cultural meetings. These aim to reinforce the sense of belonging and prepare women for reintegration into society by strengthening their social, professional, and emotional skills.
