Ministry Update: Calvary Mission Center (India)

Nestled in the heart of Nagpur, India, Calvary Mission Center is a shining beacon of hope, transforming lives through the power of the gospel. This vibrant, multi-faceted ministry is committed to nurturing faith, empowering the local community, and bringing the light of Christ to those in need.

At the core of CMC’s work are its two large slum churches, where around 100 people gather weekly for worship and fellowship. These congregations are a testament to the transformative power of the gospel, as many of the attendees have been radically changed by the love of Christ.

Last month, Calvary Mission Center hosted a week-long VBS program for 65 kids from the slums. Despite the extreme temps (about 120°F!), the kids had a wonderful week as they explored God’s wonders and faithfulness from Genesis to Revelation and were challenged to gear up in God’s armor and be ready to shine His light.
