Ministry Update: Mustard Seed Orphanage (Myanmar)

Mustard Seed Orphanage in Myanmar is a shining example of Christ’s love in action. Founded in 2003 by a local pastor, the orphanage provides a loving home for children who have lost their parents. Mustard Seed is unique in its care model, going beyond caring for orphans by incorporating widows into its ministry, providing for their needs while allowing them to play a vital role in raising the children.

Mustard Seed rejoices to share that three young women from Mustard Seed recently received certificates to become teachers at Sanders preschool.

Myanmar is celebrating the Burmese New Year this week, so its preschool will be closed, as will most schools and businesses. During this holiday, deeply rooted in Buddhist tradition, Mustard Seed is conducting a week-long Bible training camp at its facilities.
