Ministry Update: HOH (Ethiopia)

HOH’s goal is to reach children and families with the gospel and disciple them in Christian faith. Between orphaned residents and local children, HOH continues to serve over 200 children in dire situations by providing safe housing, education, healthcare, and the opportunity to hear the gospel. It also works with mothers in the community, helping them develop income-generating activities to help support their families.

HOH recently shared several updates and answers to prayers over the past year:

For the past five-six years, HOH has been greatly blessed through your prayers and financial support. Your faithful intercession and generosity have strengthened our mission and created a meaningful and vibrant partnership. We sincerely value this union and the spiritual connection we share. We have witnessed several answers to prayer concerning the matters previously shared with you.

National, Social, Political, Economic, and Spiritual Situation

Compared to the difficult wartime seasons our country previously experienced, the current situation is relatively improved. The war caused devastating human and infrastructural losses. While conditions today are better than during that period, instability and rumors of conflict still persist. Continued prayer is needed for lasting peace and stability.

HOH Land Ownership

We praise God that HOH owns a plot of land and is free from the burden of office rent. Many NGOs face significant challenges due to high rental costs and frequent relocations caused by increasing rental fees. Having our own compound enables us to avoid such instability and, as a result, utilize donations directly for the benefit of our children and beneficiaries. This has been one of the blessings of HOH.
