Answered Prayers for Oakseed’s African Ministry Partners (part 2)

The Lord answered prayers by healing the director’s broken foot earlier this year. He has been growing and maturing many of the ladies in faith. They are attending church regularly and being discipled by their pastors. On top of that, they are boldly testifying to others how Jesus has changed their lives, saying, “Now I can see – I see the light!”

The Lord has answered prayers for consistent, godly volunteers to help teach and follow up with new believers. Between the weekly ethics (Bible) classes, summer kids’ camps, counseling, and programs for mothers, Morning Light has had the opportunity to share the gospel with hundreds of women and children regularly.

The Lord has protected the young people in Teen Ministry’s programs, especially demonstrated through a failed kidnapping attempt against one of the boys. He has opened doors to reach out to young people in different areas and is growing the young adults to become bold witnesses in their community.

RHOC’s directors have been encouraged to see spiritual interest in several students. The Lord provided school fees for all the high schoolers and kept all the children safe during the devastating flooding earlier this year. He protected and healed the children during a chicken pox and malaria outbreak and provided a new, large kitchen for the compound.

In early summer, The director of RHOC requested prayer for several children who had malaria and chicken pox. The Lord answered those prayers, healing one child with malaria and several with chicken pox and keeping it from spreading through the entire orphanage.
