Ministry Update: Love Never Fails (Ethiopia)

Love Never Fails is a ministry in Ethiopia reaching women trapped in commercial sex work with Christ’s transforming love.

Through relationship building, practical support, and spiritual discipleship, the ministry demonstrates that God’s love never fails, even for those society has abandoned.

Love Never Fails has worked in its community for more than 20 years, continuing to show up when other organizations and churches have worked for only 2-5 years, then leave because they are afraid. Government officials, beneficiaries, and the community remain amazed at their longevity. Dr. Frew explains: “As our name indicates, we don’t give up easily. We work with people for years and years.” This persistence shows people how much the Lord loves them.

The ministry provides monthly food distribution to 15 commercial sex workers and HIV patients. During each visit, Dr. Frew shares: “Whatever I do, whatever we give you now, it’s not going to last forever. You are going to eat what we give you, but you are going to die. But if you come to Jesus, that’s my biggest wish. I wish I wouldn’t miss you in heaven.”
