Answered Prayers for Oakseed’s Latin American Ministry Partners (Part 2)

In answer to prayer, the Lord protected MISIUR’s community through a rough dengue fever season earlier this year. MISIUR also rejoices that a former participant has been able to graduate high school and enroll in university and that several parents’ conferences had enthusiastic attendance this year.

Even with prisons slow to reopen to visitors, the Lord has continued to give SACDEM’s director opportunities for regular ministry. He works to train chaplains and prison ministry volunteers, leads Bible studies with program alumni, and counsels families referred to the ministry.

Love Link rejoices that the Lord enabled them to care for 25 babies in their Baby House and 200 patients in their check-up program last year. He answered prayers to approve it as a foster shelter, allowing Love Link to bless and protect the children in its care. In answer to prayers, most of the babies in its care have improved substantially and have been able to return home.

Love Link asked for prayers for 10-month-old baby Jareth, who needed risky heart surgery and had finally gained enough weight to be able to schedule it. The Lord answered those prayers with a successful surgery. He has been home with his mother for the rest of the year, gaining weight and getting stronger.
