Meet Oakseed’s Africa Ministry Liaison
Sam Oluoch has been a pastor and church planter in Kenya for over 20 years. He served 17 years as pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Kisumu and is currently pastoring a church plant in Nairobi. He is also on staff at Kisumu Reformed School of Theology, a seminary he helped to found. Sam holds degrees from Africa International University (Nairobi, Kenya) and Highlands Theological College (Dingwall, Scotland). Before being called to full-time ministry in 1999, Sam worked as an Agricultural Officer in the Kenyan government.
I learned about Oakseed International through my dear friend, Rev. Rick Horne, when I visited the US in 2019, and he talked to me about Oakseed’s work. In 2020, about a year after I met Rick, Oakseed asked me to join the serving team as a liaison officer, for which I thank God.
I rejoice in partnering with Oakseed because it’s an opportunity to help people’s physical needs and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m very grateful that this work gives me a forum in which the Lord Jesus Christ can be proclaimed even as we visit our partners and keep on telling them about the greatest need that mankind has, helping them to see Christ Jesus. We’ve seen quite a number of prayers answered as we labor together.
“Serving with Oakseed has been a blessing to me and allowed me to see lives changed. It’s quite a joy. Seeing people’s lives changed and continuing to change gives me great joy and impetus to walk on and continue doing this good work…
Thank you very much for being there for Oakseed. We look forward to your support, encouragement, and prayers. We value that. Do not forget the work in Africa. There is so much that needs to be done.”
