Answered Prayers for Oakeed’s Brazilian Ministry Partners (Part 2)

The Lord answered prayers for partnerships with local groups and organizations, providing people to lead Bible studies, craft classes, and exercise times for the ladies. He helped Lily to re-register with the state, a process that had been at a standstill since the pandemic, and He provided necessary building upgrades to bring it up to code.

Ruama worked with over 60 children and young people in the community, in addition to many of their mothers, grandmothers, and aunts. The Lord has blessed Ruama with dedicated volunteers with a vision for bringing the gospel of hope to the community through its many programs.

The Lord abundantly answered prayers for The Way to have continued access to the ball fields in one of the favelas and protected the director in meetings with the favela leaders. A local school invited The Way to teach after-school classes for its students. The Lord has also solidified partnerships with several local churches.

The Way specifically asked for prayer to resolve the situation with the sports field at the favela where it hosts a club. It had been allowed to use the field one day per week, but others at the favela were contesting that arrangement and even speaking badly about The Way’s director to favela authorities. After several meetings with these authorities, the Lord gave The Way’s program favor and provided use of the field not just one day each week but now three days!
