Ministry Update: Semear (Brazil)

Since then, they have hosted a gathering to begin the restoration process. They enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship as they worked together to put up a new fence, build four new garden beds, and create a chill-out area where groups can gather.

The community soccer field they had been using is undergoing renovations, so they have had to adapt their facilities to accommodate their sports activities in the interim. The new chill-out area has already come in handy as a spot to serve after-practice snacks to the kids.

They are also having some difficulties with the authorities who oversee the use of the soccer field and are waiting for a decision from the favela leaders as to whether they can continue using it.
