The Bible contains numerous references to the importance of prayer, so we asked Rev. Sam Oluoch (Oakseed Ministry Liaison to Africa) and Rev. Rick Horne (Oakseed Ministry Liaison to Africa and the Dominican Republic) what passages stand out to them when they think of prayer for missions.

Psalm 67:1-2: “May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations.”

Matthew 9:37-38: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
