A summer update from Brazilian Baseball Association (ABBS):

ABBS gives thanks for answered prayers for a church to partner with them in their ministry and for new volunteers committed to the spiritual care of the students!

With the support of their church and its proximity to their training field, they are hosting a group of young people for prayer, Bible study, and fellowship on Tuesdays. On Saturday mornings, they host Bible question and answer times before training sessions, and they have been able to give the kids Bibles purchased with Oakseed bazaar funds. Their church has offered its facilities for Bible studies, services, movies, events, meals, and social gatherings, giving them greater opportunities to reach the community as they welcome the kids with their families and neighbors. They have several students attending the church with their families as well. 

Prayer Points

• Give thanks to the Lord for providing a church with a vision of ministry to young people and their families!
• Please pray for the Lord to bless the Bible studies and give the kids a hunger and thirst for Him and His Word.
• Pray for the Lord to use the church and ABBS to provide fellowship and community for the kids and their families so that the pull of gangs and crime does not attract them.
• They have been offered the use of a municipal government area in front of their church, but they still need authorization and legal release for this area to be used for their activities. Please pray for the Lord to provide these quickly so they can use this field.
