We received an update from Sugandh about the distribution of bazaar gifts to the women and children in their programs. Please pray for these women and children to come to know the Lord as their Provider and trust in Him through the distribution and receipt of these gifts.

One item in the Oakseed catalog was clothing for a slum child. Children in the slums may not own a complete set of clothing, leaving kids exposed, vulnerable to disease and injuries, and ashamed. Cleaning or repairing clothing is difficult. This gift blesses a child with a new set of clothing, including a shirt, pants/dress, and underwear.

The director of Sugandh noted, “Thank you so much for giving them reason to smile; they were so happy to get clothes.”

Another catalog item was funds for Sugandh to distribute to women in their program for new business grants. Previous recipients purchased food carts and are now proudly providing for their families.

Last week, Sugandh distributed supplies for several women to start their own food cart businesses. Again, Sugandh’s director says,

“Their smiles tell you the whole story. God bless you all for thinking about them and giving them little wings to fly.”
