The number of orphans in Myanmar continues to rise, with some children truly orphaned and others given up by parents desperate to keep their children alive amid deep poverty and the inability to provide even basic needs.

Mustard Seed Orphanage has developed a unique ministry by building a Christ-centered community to meet these needs. As they provide food, housing, Christian education, discipleship, job training, and medical care for over 190 widows and orphans, they fold these precious widows into the ministry to help care for the orphans. In addition to tangible work and meaning, the widows, who have experienced grief and loss, can empathize with and comfort the children.
