In most parts of Ethiopia, coming to Christ is seen as a rejection of the culture, and converts are shunned,

denied burial grounds, ostracized by their neighbors, and even sometimes physically abused.

They will not have support from their neighbors when they are sick, their children will be rejected

by neighborhood children, and people won’t share food with them when they are in need.

Love Never Fails cares for women living in extreme poverty, former prostitutes, and women with HIV. Their hearts have been hardened by years of poverty, disease, and abuse. Love Never Fails pursues relationship with them, providing food, medical care, income-generating activities, and educational support for their children, praying with them, and sharing the gospel of peace and hope. They also train pastors to fold these women into their congregations, providing discipleship and community. Even though these women must pay a steep price when they come to Christ, over the years, several of them have professed faith in Him, integrated into local churches, and started their own businesses!
