At Oakseed, we long for people to commit to faithful prayer. Prayer will change your own life and bless the ministries you are praying for. Oakseed offers several resources to assist your prayers for the spread of the gospel worldwide, including daily prayer request emails, quarterly prayer guides, weekly blog posts with ministry updates and prayer points, children’s prayer guides, a suggested weekly rhythm of prayer for missions, and an intercessor partnership program. Please visit our prayer page to request any of these resources and our blog for regular updates.
The best thing that we can do is, obviously, pray. God moves mountains through prayers. There’s no need to emphasize this because it’s proven time and again.

One of the things that we can do is to be praying for each one of these ministries.
Carlos Dourado, Oakseed Ministry Liaison to Latin America
We need to pray for these people.
Rev. Rick Horne, Oakseed Ministry Liaison to the Dominican Republic and Africa
So, do pray for these matters…Pray for the orphans that are there, the old ladies that are there.
Rev. Sam Oluoch, Oakseed Ministry Liaison to Africa
This might sound like a cliché, but the greatest thing we can do for these people is to pray for them. Like Nehemiah, who both prayed and worked and prayed while he worked, we can both pray and give. I would say prayer is the most important thing because Jesus said that without me, you can do nothing. So we can give all the money in the world, but as far as anything of lasting and eternal value being done, that only comes as a result of prayer.
Rev. Craig DiBenedictis, Oakseed Ministry Liaison Emeritus
- Pray for the ministry leaders to be faithful and have hope and encouragement in the face of persecution.
- Please pray for wisdom and discernment for our ministry liaisons as they cultivate and vet ministries for potential partnerships and disciple our current ministries and their leaders.
- Please pray for God to provide the needed resources to continue and expand the ministry of Oakseed.
